Help Us get Pete a New Couch

Sleeping on a couch isn’t very comfortable.
But Pete didn’t go to Washington to get comfortable.

For 18 years as a Michigan congressman, Pete Hoekstra has slept on his office couch in Washington. He didn’t want to get too comfortable there because, for Pete, Michigan is home.

And as our congressman, he's been watching our pennies in Washington. In fact, Pete has been recognized year after year for his record on reducing taxes and spending by organizations like Americans for Tax Reform, the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste, and the National Federation of Small Business.

Pete knows that, in these challenging times, it's more important than ever that our leaders in Lansing are watching our pennies, too. That's why Pete's running for Governor. He knows Michigan needs leadership in Lansing that will cut bureaucracy, simplify our tax code and free hard working Michigan families, business owners and entrepreneurs to innovate, invest, build and succeed.

Michigan needs Pete Hoekstra.
“People can’t believe I’ve slept on my couch in DC for 18 years. But I didn’t want to get too comfortable in Washington. I knew that I worked IN DC, but FOR the people of Michigan.”

—Pete Hoekstra

Michigan needs a leader who works FOR the people and against government waste. Pete Hoekstra has the background—and priorities—to get the job done. We need your help to get Pete into the Governor’s office ... and maybe, even, to buy him a new couch (one that can double as a bed).

Can you help put Pete on the job for Michigan with your donation of $50, $75 or even $100?
